Refund & Replacement Policy

They can be used anytime in the future on any litter. Only less then 1% have moved off the litter or dog or puppy. Its usally for personal reasons and not for the dog puppy we chose for them or allowed them to put the deposit down

Health Guarantee

We take every step to ensure your new puppy arrives in excellent health.

All puppies receive a veterinary health exam and Health Certificate before delivery.
You must have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of receipt (excluding weekends). Failure to do so will void all guarantees.

Replacement Terms

We guarantee your puppy against congenital, life-threatening, non-treatable genetic conditions under the following conditions:

A veterinarian must provide a written diagnosis of the condition.
If the puppy passes away, an autopsy by a licensed DVM is required within 24 hours.
If a hereditary issue is confirmed, a replacement puppy will be offered from the same or future litter of equal value.
Original puppy must be returned at buyer’s expense before a replacement will be issued.
No cash refunds are given under any circumstances.

Failure to follow the replacement terms may result in a $500 penalty, payable immediately to the breeder.

Hip Guarantee

We guarantee against genetic crippling hip dysplasia until 24 months of age:

Hips must be x-rayed between 12–24 months by a licensed orthopedic vet for OFA certification.
If the hips do not certify as Excellent, Good, or Fair:
- A replacement puppy will be offered.
- Buyer must provide proof of spay/neuter and return AKC papers signed back to the seller.

Note: Puppies sold on limited registration or at a reduced price are eligible for 50% value replacement only, and only if a signed hip warranty was provided at sale.

Ownership & Return Policy

If you can no longer keep your dog, you must contact the breeder.
The dog must be returned to us with compensation.
You may not rehome the dog without written approval.
Dogs may never be surrendered to shelters, rescues, or any animal control facility.

Abuse or Neglect

If at any time the dog is found to be abused or neglected (as determined by authorities), ownership reverts immediately to the breeder.

No Warranty For

We do not offer guarantees for:

Color, size, show ability, housebreaking, reproductive capability, or temperament.
Conditions treatable by a veterinarian, including but not limited to:
- Hernias, parasites, hypoglycemia, loose stools, patella issues, etc.
Puppies bred or altered before 24 months: Hip guarantee is void.

Deposits & Payment

All deposits are non-refundable.
Final payment must be made in cash only.
Deposits may be made by wire transfer, certified check, money order, cash, or personal check, Zelle or Cashapp.

Registration & Breeder Recognition

AKC registration papers will be provided within 90 days of purchase.
The name “Gigante’s” must appear in the puppy’s AKC registered name.
Failure to include this will void all warranties.

Legal Disclaimer

By purchasing a puppy, you agree to release Gigante Line and JDean Gigante from all liability related to the raising, training, or disposition of the dog. You agree to indemnify and hold the breeder harmless against any legal claims.
